undeas And I really liked this story. This book picks up after book 1’s big rescue mission, and now the whole gang know about Alex. Well, nearly all of them do. I dug the first book in this series, but Voice of the Undead totally ups the ante. Want to Read saving…. The vampires in Viice of the Undead are evil bloodsucking fiends without pity or remorse, and they all deserve a wooden stake through their black, bloodless hearts.

It’s made me miss the good old days, when vampires were just unholy undead abominations that needed to be destroyed. Nov 06, Allison Ince rated it it was amazing. Alex has heightened senses that can alert him to the presence of evil, but he still has a tough time understanding girls.

How it just makes you think that you will know what is going to happen next. I think I would have liked this one more if I’d read the first one more recently.
Ultravox was a nice villain and the concept added a thread that could pull both the action of the school s and the larger vampire versus human battle.
I love how each of the teens have such a distinct personality and the great banter that they share. Vienna, Elle, Sid, and the talent show at the girls’ school really overshadowed Ultravox. You go read it! Hiding out amongst other teens at Glenarvon Academy, he passes himself off as just another kid attending a private school.
This second book was much better than the first in my opinion. Dodging Elle’s attacks, Alex is on a mission to uncover Ultravox’s deadly plan before his friends and his school become collateral damage. Truth be told, this novel wasn’t even on my radar. A fire destroys the school and the boys are sent to live in their sister school. Back to the story though it was written perfectly how all the characters mix and match.
But this is a stand alone novel that has Alex fighting vampires again, but at a much slower pace.
