I received a free copy of this title from the publisher. Actually, the climax included a huge surprise that will have a dramatic effect on the sequel. He is a strong character but you still feel sorry for him. Hanging below its body was a writhing bundle of flexible tendrils, each ending in a esrthfall, barbed tip.
I officially cannot wait for Earthfall II to land! I did have some trouble with the storyline in this book. He comes up to find food, but stays out of sight during the day.
