JC greeted us personally and gave us a friendly and thorough tour, including tips and instructions for getting the most use of out his place as well as restaurant recommendations for the surrounding area. The chalet itself is lovely and very cozy.
The location is very convenient to Annecy and the main road; there is a little road noise during the day but it's very quiet at night.
The kitchen was well-appointed, and JC even left us a few fresh provisions to get us started. The wood-burning spa on the deck was a special treat!
